But you know I went to a Broadway production of
while I was in NY and most of the dudes seemed just average to me, not overtly femme or macho. Is there a cultural perception of masculinity that is operating here whereby all men in musicals are automatically ~suspect (as in the way Matthew Morrison is in the Elle interview)?
Re: the backlash, yeah thats an interesting point, though with Bill O'Reilly etc weighing in I would think most people (at least in America) did have an inkling. The AMA thing I think just took on a life of its own and the virulence will always be bizzare to me, which I think did go beyond the AI-thing into the gay-panic thing. His reviews are gonna be interesting to watch for sure..ty for dropping by bb <3
